Total rebrand and digital upgrade launched
Scambler Music has undergone a total rebrand and digital upgrade for 2022. An original and innovative brand identity has uniformly been rolled out across this website and all digital downloads, marketing materials, social media platforms and streaming services. At the heart of the fresh new brand is a distinctive and memorable logo that features a balanced contemporary typeface, a neutral two-tone palette, and a unique visual icon – six carefully aligned forms that present the initials of the business as stylised piano keys.
The new logo is available in a range of supportive formats, including a horizontal layout, which is ideal for use within the website header, email templates, newsletters, traditional printed stationary, and other forms of media where space is at a premium and the readability of the wording takes precedence.
The inventive new logo will also be consistently used in a bold square layout. This allows for the projection of the distinct visual icon over the wording, and makes for a more impactful and striking presence on digital media and marketing material that doesn’t require the logo size to be confined.
Together with a complete overhaul of social media branding, the Scambler Music website has undergone a comprehensive upgrade with a creative redesign and extensive functional redevelopment. Originally launched in 2000, the website has predominantly been used as a marketing tool for Scambler’s chart albums. The new site goes beyond chart album promotion and now features fully automated royalty free music licensing, with tracks from Scambler’s extensive back catalogue now available to preview, instantly license and immediately download. Scambler’s independent music is more authentic and creative than stock production music, it’s significantly cheaper than PRS/MCPS rates, and it is now available for instant licensing.
To further enhance and support the marketing and promotion of the new royalty free music licensing service the rebranded logo has been animated and rendered for use in video promotions and previews. This new production logo, or vanity plate, features a short, dramatic and uplifting orchestral score composed and produced by Scambler.
Album designs have been conceived to visually capture and embody the emotion and style of the varied and expansive range of royalty free music albums now available to license. Careful consideration was made towards photo selection, typeface choice, colour scheme, textures and filters in order to best encapsulate the genre, mood and spirit of each album.
Audio previews are available on each of the royalty free album pages, but to further enhance listening options, and also leverage interest on video platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo, video previews have been designed and rendered to help showcase each of the albums.
To highlight the power, passion, tension, drama, intrigue and wonder that royalty free music can add to films, games, adverts, promotional material and other media, individual music videos have been generated to help promote each genre available in the royalty free music library.
A full range of supporting marketing material, digital downloads, desktop wallpaper and stationary has also be designed as part of the 2022 Scambler Music rebrand.
