‘Event’ album review
‘Event’ was the first unofficial album released by Scambler back in 1999. It was written and produced on basic music software and is not up to the professional quality of later albums (which is why it’s free). This free album download is a mix of laid back ambient and chillout tracks, combined with upbeat progressive house and trance music (all varying in quality and production levels). Although original in style, being a mix of ambient, chillout, progressive house and trance music it could be said that ‘Event’ sounds a bit like a mash up of BT and Leftfield.
